In have studied Communications Technology for two years in Grade 11 and Grade 12 in Mr.Esford's Class. I belong to the SHSM Specialist High Skills Major focus in Information and Communications Technology at Holy Cross. Com Tech has allowed me to discover my passion: Journalism. I love to take photos and write captions about the photos that I took. FALL PREVENTION  ''Fall Prevention Photo'' by Ashleigh Mclaren  This photo was taken at the Fall Prevention Course which one is of the training certificates that you need in order to get a Red Seal. During of the morning of the Fall Prevention Course, I learned about Ladder Safety and Elevating Work Platform Safety from a certified instructor. In the afternoon, we went outside and the Instructor introduced us to a scissor lift. Before we went on the scissor lift, the  Instructor told us the safest way to  get on the  scissor lift without hurting ourselves.  The Instructor also told us what equipment we needed to wear to be as safe as possible. The equipment I wore before I went on the scissor lift was a hard hat and a harness. VIDEO PRODUCTION

SHORT MOVIE ''Begadwe (Little Brother of War)'' Microphone/Audio/Music:Robert Roques In my grade 12 Communications Technology class we produced a five minute short movie. My job responsibilities were microphone installer, Audio in a group of three students. During the Interview, I hooked up the Microphone to the interviewers.  I also listened for background noise during the interview. In addition, I also created the Music for my Short Movie and mixed the audio levels. This video is entered in the 2018 Kingston Canadian Film Festival in the Youth Shorts Category. Documentary Video  '' The Funniest Moment about Secondary School'' Producer: Robert Roque s   In a team comprised of three students we produced a short one minute documentary video on Grade Nine at Holy Cross. PUBLICLY HEAD SHOT "Bobby Barrett Head Shot'' Photographed by Robert Roques This is a Publicity Head Shot I photographed in my Grade 12 Com Tech course. I used a Nixon D90 DSLR with an 18-55 mm 1:3.5-5.6VR Lens. I also used a Camray 300 Compact Lighting System. I enjoyed this project because I got the chance to work with a cooperative model. Architectural Photo "Light Stream'' Architectural Photo by Robert Roques I photographed this Architectural image in downtown Kingston, Ontario, Canada since unfortunately i could not  make the Grade 12 communication Technology Toronto Trip . I used a Nixon D5000 DSLR camera with 18-55 mm 1:3-5:6g VRII. I edited this image on an iMacComputer using Adobe Photoshop CS3 software.  I learned to use natural light and architectural photography such as  the rule of thirds and perspective.  I like this assignment because I got out of my comfort zone and learned new techniques that will help me in the future.

PHOTO DIGITAL ART ''Fifty Shades of Pedro'' Photo Digital Art by Robert Roques  In my photo digital art assignment entitled ‘’Three Shades of Pedro’’, this image shows the three shades of colour: green, blue and purple on the face of my friend Pedro. Digital art is an artistic work or practice that uses digital technology as an essential part of the creative or presentation process. I created this image for my Grade 12 Communication Technology class. I used what I have learned in previous units, which was creativity and technical knowledge in photography. I also used photo manipulation for my artwork.
