FALL PREVENTION

This photo was taken at the Fall Prevention Course which one is of the training certificates that you need in order to get a Red Seal. During of the morning of the Fall Prevention Course, I learned about Ladder Safety and Elevating Work Platform Safety from a certified instructor. In the afternoon, we went outside and the Instructor introduced us to a scissor lift. Before we went on the scissor lift, the  Instructor told us the safest way to  get on the  scissor lift without hurting ourselves.  The Instructor also told us what equipment we needed to wear to be as safe as possible. The equipment I wore before I went on the scissor lift was a hard hat and a harness.

This photo was taken outside of the Sheraton Campus. We went to Sheraton College in Oakville, Ontario to Specifically learn about their Photography and Video Production Program. My Favourite Part about trip to Sheraton College was learning about all the different programs ,Sheraton had to offer and the  delicious food, of course!

'' CTV Studios Set''

      This photo was taken at the CTV Studios in Toronto, Ontario.  This aspect of the tour was designed to show you one of the places that you could work in after college or university .  While visiting CTV Studios, I learned that you need more than just one or two people for a television broadcast.  I learned that there are multiple people behind the scenes who are involved in order to make the news broadcast go smoothly,  such as the person behind the audio board, cameraman, makeup,  the clothing stylist and script writer.

     This photo was taking at Holy Cross  Catholic Secondary School outside of the Cogeco Van. The Cogeco training is one of the training that you need in order to get the red seal diploma. At the Cogeco training session , I learned from a Cogeco Professional, how to install and put away a camera. I was also introduced to the inside of the Cogeco van., where I was shown how to do Audio and Graphics  for sporting events. This  came in  handy when it came time for me to work the Audio Board at the Holy Cross Memorial Basketball between Holy Cross and Regi.
